Spartan Chemical is pleased to announce that Hard Surface Disinfecting Wipes Fresh Scent are now compliant with OSHA ‘s Blood Borne Pathogen Standard. In order to be compliant, Spartan has registered the wipes as an effective disinfectant for the following viruses:
- Hepatitis B virus (HBV)*
- Hepatitis C virus (HCV)*

In addition, Spartan has also expanded the virucidal and disinfecting claims to include:
- Klebsiella pneumoniae New Dehli Metallo-Beta Lactamase (NDM-1) Carbapenem Resistant (CDC Clinical Isolate No. 10002)* (frequent cause of nosocomial infections or HAIs)
- Human Coronavirus** (frequent cause of the common cold)
